WellAbled : Access to the seas and oceans

As part of its fight for accessibility on land, at sea and in the air, WAW has developed a partnership with WellAbled, a boat designed to accommodate wheelchair users. In order to host its guests in the best possible conditions, the boat has a wider access ramp, adapted rooms but also a lift to reach all three levels, as well as a platform capable of descending one meter deep giving people with motor disabilities the opportunity to swim in the open sea.

WAW fully supports this initiative and wishes to give it greater visibility to make shipowners aware of the need to design boats accessible for invalid people. Boating is an integral part of tourism, which is why WAW would like to allow people with disabilities to take a vacation on boats that could finally accommodate them in suitable conditions.

Chance House: Cultural Immersion in Vietnam

WAW has developed special ties with Maison Chance, a welcome center for orphans and people with disabilities in Ho Chi Minh. The initiative allows not only the housing of a community of 200 children and 200 adults, but also their integration into social life, allowing orphan children to continue their education while adults are trained to find a job.

To support this meaningful project, WAW decided to share its marketing skills with Maison Chance to help expand its reach. Our association has also allowed the development of six guest rooms and an apartment fully accessible for invalid people.

Mindful of the enrichment of a life immersion experience far away from home, WAW wants to offer people with disabilities a unique cultural and human experience, in a setting adapted to their needs.
